국문 초록

본 연구는 2022 개정 교육과정에 따라 개발된 중학교 1학년 수학 교과서에서 소인수분해 개념이 어떻게 도입되고 구성되고 있는지를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 제6차부터 2022 개정 교육과정까지의 변화 흐름을 살펴보고, 2022 개정 교육과정에 따른 교과서 9종에서 소인수분해 관련 성취기준([9수01-01], [9수01-02])의 구현 양상을 비교 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 대부분의 교과서가 소인수분해 개념을 절차 중심으로 서술하고 있었으며, ‘인수’ 개념의 도입이 부족하거나 ‘약수’와 혼용되는 서술이 관찰되었다. 또한 거듭제곱 개념은 형식적으로 도입되고, 최대공약수와 최소공배수도 계산 중심의 문제 해결에 치우친 경향을 보였다. 이러한 양상은 소인수분해 개념의 구조적 이해를 지원하기 위한 교수·학습 자료 개발과 후속 연구의 필요성을 시사한다. 본 연구는 교육과정과 교과서 간 정합성을 점검하고, 구조적 이해 중심의 교수·학습 방향을 탐색하는 데 기초자료를 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes how the concept of prime factorization is introduced and structured in 7th grade mathematics textbooks developed under the 2022 revised Korean mathematics curriculum. It also reviews the progression of curriculum documents from the 6th to the 2022 revision and compares how the relevant achievement standards ([9Math01-01], [9Math01-02]) are implemented across nine textbooks. The analysis shows that most textbooks adopt a procedural approach, with insufficient introduction of the term “factor” and frequent confusion with “divisor.” The concept of exponentiation is introduced only formally, and greatest common divisor and least common multiple are mostly treated through calculation-oriented tasks. These findings suggest the need for developing instructional materials and further studies to support students’ structural understanding of prime factorization. This study contributes by examining the alignment between curriculum and textbooks and offering foundational insights into instructional directions that promote conceptual understanding.
