국문 초록

(Purpose)This study empirically analyzes the impact of the government's direct technology innovation policy on DX innovation and product innovation in SMEs. (Design/methodology/approach) As the dependent variables are dummy variables of DX innovation success and product innovation success of SMEs, a binary logit regression analysis was conducted, and SPSS version 27 was used for the analysis. The classification of industry types in the control variables is taken from OECD (2016), and the analysis sample is 3,281 SMEs. (Finding) The direct government support policies that affect the success of DX innovation and product innovation are 'funding policies' and 'technology support policies'. We found that funding policies have a negative impact on DX innovation success and a positive relationship with product innovation. On the contrary, 'technical support' policies have a positive effect on DX innovation success, but no statistical effect was found on product innovation. The higher the DX adoption rate of an industry, the more positive the impact on DX innovation and product innovation. (Research implications or Originality) The significance of this study is that it confirms the moderating effect of DX innovation success rate according to industrial characteristics on the government's technology innovation support policies. Among the direct support policies, the moderating effect of the industrial DX innovation rate on the technical support policy was not confirmed, while the negative effect of the higher industrial DX innovation rate on the funding policy was confirmed.
