국문 초록

Healing agriculture is increasingly recognized as a promising new industry that leverages the multifaceted functions of agriculture to enhance human health and improve overall quality of life. This study proposes that the perspectives and methodologies of rehabilitation professionals can be effectively integrated into the advancement of healing agriculture. Through a comprehensive review of relevant literature and an in-depth analysis of exemplary domestic and international cases, the study demonstrates the potential contributions of such interdisciplinary approaches to the design of healing agriculture programs and the growth of the industry. In addition, the research highlights the developmental potential of healing agriculture as a sixth-sector industry, particularly in terms of revitalizing local economies and generating substantial social value. Based on the findings, the study offers policy and practical recommendations to promote the expansion of healing agriculture. Among these is the strategic engagement of healthcare professionals as core human resources within the field. The study underscores the critical importance of cultivating specialized professionals to ensure the sustainable development of healing agriculture and calls for further in-depth research and robust policy support to institutionalize and scale its implementation.
