건강 신념 모델이 코로나19 백신 정책 순응에 미치는 영향 분석 미디어 유형별 신뢰도 조절 효과를 중심으로

국문 초록

코로나19가 유행하며 정부는 감염이 확산되지 않도록 코로나19 백신 접종을 통한 억제 정책을 강력하게 추진하였다. 본 연구는 보건 정책 수용에 개인의 신념이 중요함을 인식하고 이를 건강 신념 모델의 적용을 통해 알아보았다. 또한, 다양한 형태의 미디어가 행위 단서로서 중요한 역할을 수행하는 상황임을 고려하여 건강 신념 모델에 미디어 유형별 신뢰도를 조절 변수로 추가하여 새로운 건강 신념 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 한국행정연구원에서 실시한 ‘코로나19 감염병 공중보건 위기관리 정부 대응 및 백신 접종 안전성에 대한 인식조사’를 원자료로 하여 분석한 결과, 독립변수로서 지각된 위협은 정책 순응에 영향을 미치지 않았으나, 행동적 평가는 정책 순응에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 또한, 건강 신념 모델에서 미디어 유형별 신뢰도가 조절 변수로서 정책 순응에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 매스미디어 신뢰도보다 뉴미디어 신뢰도가 정책 순응에 더욱 강한 수준으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

As COVID-19 spread, the government strongly promoted a policy of suppression through COVID-19 vaccination to prevent the spread of infection. This study recognized the importance of personal beliefs in the acceptance of health policies and examined this through the application of the Health Belief Model. In addition, considering that various forms of media play an important role as cues to action, we intend to present a new Health Belief Model by adding trust by media type as a moderating variable to the Health Belief Model. As a result of analyzing the ‘Survey on the Government’s Response to COVID-19 Public Health Crisis Management and Vaccination Safety’ conducted by the Korea Institute of Public Administration as the original data, perceived threat as an independent variable did not affect policy compliance, but behavioral evaluation had a positive effect on policy compliance. In addition, in the Health Belief Model, media type reliability was found to affect policy compliance as a moderating variable. In particular, new media reliability was found to have a stronger effect on policy compliance than mass media reliability.
