국문 초록

With the rapid development of global science and technology, the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) education concept has become an important trend in the development of global higher education. As a result, STEAM education has gradually received attention in the field of art education in Chinese universities. The STEAM education concept emphasizes interdisciplinary integration and is committed to cultivating high- quality talents with innovative capabilities and comprehensive qualities. However, due to the inertia of the traditional art education model, limitations in teaching staff, and imperfections in the curriculum system and teaching resources, its promotion in art education in universities still faces many challenges. Zhengzhou University ranks first in terms of the number of students in China. Taking it as the research object, this paper explores the implementation status, existing problems, and future development strategies of STEAM education in the university's art education. This can help reveal the real- world situation of the promotion of this model in local universities and provide reference experiences and suggestions for other universities.
