국문 초록
This study specifically compared and analyzed the contents of Korea's 2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum and Japan's Kindergarten Education Guidelines. The results of the analysis show that in the health-related area, Korea focuses on physical activity and the formation of healthy habits, but Japan covers it more broadly, including mental health. In the language area, Korea focuses on listening and speaking, reading and writing, and communication using storybooks, while Japan focuses more on language development and understanding. Korean social relations focus on the acquisition of social skills, while Japan emphasizes understanding social norms and roles. In the area of expression, Korea focuses on artistic creativity, etc., but Japan presents a wider range of expressions including emotional expression and communication skills. In the environment and nature exploration, Korea presents exploration skills, scientific and mathematical exploration, and living with nature, but Japan presents environmental education in a broad sense that includes play using surrounding objects in daily life and even the social environment.
