국문 초록

본 연구는 지각된 부모의 심리적 통제가 군 생활 적응에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지, 지각된 부모 의 심리적 통제가 군 생활 적응에 미치는 과정에서 평가염려 완벽주의와 자기자비가 매개하는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 경상도에 소재한 육군에 복무 중인 병사 289명에게 지각된 부모 의 심리적 통제, 군 생활 적응, 평가염려 완벽주의, 자기자비에 관한 설문을 실시하여 분석하였다. 이중매개효과를 검증하기 위해 기술통계 및 상관분석, SPSS Macro 부트스트레핑(bootstrapping) 방 법을 적용하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 지각된 부모의 심리적 통제가 높을수록 군 생활 적응이 낮았다. 둘째, 지각된 부모의 심리적 통제와 군 생활 적응의 관계에서 평가염려 완벽주의와 자기자비가 각각 부분매개하였다. 셋째, 지각된 부모의 심리적 통제는 평가염려 완벽주의 및 자기자비의 이중 매개 경로를 거쳐 군 생활 적응에 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 결과를 중심으로 부모의 심리적 통제를 겪은 병사의 군 생활 적응을 돕기 위해서는 평가염려 완벽주의를 완화하고 자기자비를 높이는 개 입이 필요함을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The successful social adaptation of soldiers is essential for personal growth and the improvement of military combat effectiveness. The purpose of this study was to investigate how perceived parental psychological control affects soldiers' social adaptation, and whether evaluative-concern perfectionism and self-compassion mediate in the process of perceived parental psychological control on soldiers' social adaptation. To this end, a survey was administered to 289 army soldiers stationed in Gyeongsang province to assess perceived parental psychological control, soldiers' social adaptation, evaluative-concern perfectionism, and self-compassion. Descriptive statistics and correlation analysis, and SPSS Macro bootstrapping methods were applied to verify the double mediating effect. First, higher levels of perceived parental psychological control were associated with lower soldiers’social adaptation. Second, evaluative-concern perfectionism and self-compassion each mediated the relationship between perceived parental psychological control and soldiers' social adaptation. Each relationship was partially mediated. Third, the perceived psychological control of parents influenced the soldiers' social adaptation through a sequential double mediation of evaluative-concern perfectionism and self-compassion. Based on these results, these findings highlight the need for interventions that reduce evaluative-concern perfectionism and enhance self-compassion to help soldiers who have undergone psychological control of their parents to adapt to military life.
