전기차 해상운송시 안전성 향상 요인에 대한 연구

국문 초록

기후변화와 환경오염 문제에 대응하기 위해서 친환경 교통수단으로서 전기자동차의 도입과 보급이 빠르게 이루어지고 있다. 그러나, 전기차의 보급이 확대됨에 따라 전기차 배터리 화재로 인한 대형선박 사고가 잇따라 발생하면서 해운업계의 우려가 점차 커지고 있다. 전기차의 해상 운송량은 지속적으로 증가하고 있지만, 해운 선사들은 여전히 화재 위험에 효과적으로 대처할 수 있는 체계적인 대응 방안을 갖추지 못한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구는 전기차 해상운송 시 안전성 향상 에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구는 글로벌 해상물류업계에 종사하는 업체 실무자 259명의 응답을 활용하여 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 작업장 내 환경 개선을 제외한 안전장치 및 절차의 개선, 직원들의 배터리 위험에 대한 인지정도, 사고 대응 훈련 및 교육 실시 3가지 요인들이 안전성 향상에 대해 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 안전장치 및 절차의 개선 요인이 가장 높은 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This s tudy examined the key factors influencing safety improvements in electronic vehicles (EV) maritime transport to provide insights for enhancing risk mitigation measures. Research design, data, and methodology: A multiple regression analysis was conducted using the survey data from 259 professionals in the global maritime logistics industry. Results: These findings suggest that safety devices and procedures, employees’ battery risk awareness, and accident response training significantly enhance EV maritime safety. Among these, safety devices and procedures had the strongest influence. In contrast, workplace environment improvements had no significant effect, highlighting the importance of proactive safety measures and employee preparedness. Conclusions: Shipping companies must enhance safety protocols, risk awareness, and training programs to mitigate EV-related fire risks. Strengthening safety devices and procedures is particularly crucial. These findings offer practical guidance for policymakers and industry stakeholders in developing comprehensive safety strategies for EV maritime transport.
