『大韓自強会月報』に出現する日本漢字語の研究 - 大垣丈夫と柳瑾の記事を資料として

국문 초록

The articles in The Monthly Issue of Korean Self-strengthening Society (1906-1907) that were translated and submitted by the advisors of Korean Self-strengthening Society, Ogaki Takeo (大垣丈夫) and YuGeun (柳瑾), were investigated in this paper. The investigation showed that the above articles they submitted contained many of the same Chinese characters that were used in Japan at the time. This means that Japanese Chinese characters in Korean sentences written by the Japanese and in Korean sentences translated from Japanese sentences by the Korean flowed into the Korean mixed-scripts of Chinese characters. It was confirmed that The Monthly Issue of Korean Self-strengthening Society is important evidence that showed the inflow of Japanese Chinese characters into Korea during the Korean enlightenment period and Japanese people’s involvement in it.

영문 초록

本論文では、韓国開化期日本語の移入の実体を考察するため、「大韓自強会」の顧問である日本人の大垣丈夫と柳瑾が『大韓自強会月報』(1906- 1907)に寄稿した記事を調査した。 その結果、大垣丈夫が書いた「日本の自治制度」と柳瑾が書いた「教育学原理」に、当時日本で使われていた漢字語がそのまま出現していることが多数確認できた。これは日本人が直接書いた韓国語文と韓国人が訳した翻訳文に、各々漢字を媒介とした日本漢字語が国漢文混用体に編入されていることを意味している。 このように『大韓自強会月報』は20世紀初め、日本漢字語の流入を証明する重要な位置づけができる資料として、韓国人だけではなく、日本人が深く関係していることが確認できた。 従って、『大韓自強会月報』は日本漢字語を韓国語に移植した資料として重要なものであることが明らかになったと考える。
