국문 초록

This study examines the conditions under which the ‘sasete-itadaku’ sentence structure is formed with Chinese character verbs in Japanese, emphasizing both derivational and syntactic perspectives of the verb. The analysis addresses areas deemed insufficient in prior research, particularly from a syntactic perspective. The formation of ‘sasete-itadaku’ sentences appears to follow a sequential process, as outlined below. Specifically, issues related to derivation that cannot be resolved in [Step 1] are clarified through the parameter of self-controllability in [Step 2]. [Step 1] Derivation Based on Chinese Character Verb Types * The structure is derived from Type [A-1] and Type [A-2-2]. * It is not derivable from Type [A-2-1]. [Step 2] Presence or Absence of Self-Controllability * Among verbs in Types [A-1] and [A-2-2], the structure is less likely to form when self-controllability is weak. [Step 3] Establishment through Context * The structure is established in contexts where the action is permitted by the hearer.

영문 초록

本論文は、日本語の漢語動詞の「させていただく」文を対象に、文成立の条件について、動詞派生及び構文論的観点に重点をおいて分析を行った。先行研究を参考にしながらも、不足していると思われる構文論的アプローチを行なっている。「させていただく」文は、次のような成立段階が考えられる。[段階1]で説明できない派生の問題を[段階2]のパラメーターで説明可能になる。 [段階 1] 漢語動詞のタイプによる派生 [A-1] タイプと[A-2-2]タイプから派生する。 [A-2-1] タイプからは派生しない。 [段階 2] 自己制御性の有無 [A-2-1] タイプは自己制御性がないため成立しない。 [A-1] タイプと[A-2-2]タイプの動詞の内、自己制御性が弱い場合、成立しにくい。 [段階 3] コンテクストによる成立可否 相手の許可の下、行為を行うということが許される文脈である場合、成立する。
