국문 초록
This study investigates whether advanced L2 Korean learners continue to develop writing proficiency focusing on dimensions of Complexity, Accuracy, and Fluency (CAF), and how phonological short-term memory (PSTM), executive functions (EF), and language contact profile (LCP) shape that development. A total of 102 high-level learners, categorized into high/mid/low tiers based on a mini-TOPIK, completed a video-based writing task that was analyzed for CAF, while PSTM, EF (PAT, SRTT), and LCP were assessed. Results revealed limited complexity differences but wider gaps in accuracy and fluency. PSTM correlated with fluency, yet lost significance once other factors were controlled. EF—especially explicit memory (assessed by PAT)—consistently boosted accuracy, and LCP items showed selective effects, with native-language reliance hindering certain metrics. These findings suggest that even at advanced stages, L2 learners exhibit uneven proficiency across CAF dimensions with complexity reaching a plateau while accuracy and fluency show potential for improvement.
