국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 지금까지 전개된 인공지능윤리 담론의 성과와 한계를 비판적으로 검토하고, 그 분석을 바탕으로 인공지능윤리교육의 방향과 과제가 교육윤리학의 관점에서 새롭게 조명될 필요가 있음을 밝히는 데 목적을 둔다. 연구방법: 선행연구 및 문헌 분석을 통해, 주로 윤리 가이드라인 및 윤리 원칙 개발에 집중되어 온 기존 인공지능윤리 담론의 건전성을 평가하고, 교육윤리학적 접근을 바탕으로 인공지능윤리교육의 실천적 방향과 과제를 탐색하였다. 연구결과: 교육적 관심이 결여된 인공지능윤리 담론은 윤리 세탁이나 윤리 때리기와 같은 부작용에 노출될 수밖에 없다. 이에 도덕과를 통한 인공지능윤리교육은 단순히 기존 인공지능윤리 담론의 연구 성과-윤리 가이드라인, 윤리 원칙, 체크리스트 등-를 소비하는 수준을 넘어 인간의 고유한 시적 거주 능력의 회복과 윤리적 디자인을 통한 대화의 복원 가능성에 주목해야 한다. 결론: 교육윤리학의 관점에서 볼 때 도덕과를 통한 인공지능윤리교육의 방향과 과제는, 기술과 함께하는 인간 실천이 순전한 수단-목적 관계로 종속되기보다 가능한 한 시적 거주방식을 따르도록, 기술적 실천 속에서도 공동체적 대화에의 참여라는 초점적 순간이 안전하게 보장되도록 이끄는 데 놓여 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study critically examines the achievements and limitations of the discourse on AI ethics to date. It highlights the need for a renewed perspective on the directions and challenges of AI ethics education, specifically through the lens of educational ethics. Methods: Through an analysis of prior research and a comprehensive literature review, this study examines the validity of the current AI ethics discourse, which primarily revolves around the development of ethical guidelines and principles. Furthermore, it explores the practical direction of AI ethics education from the perspective of educational ethics. Results: AI ethics discourse that lacks educational attention is vulnerable to side effects such as ethics washing and ethics bashing. AI ethics education through moral education as a subject should not merely consume the existing research outcomes of AI ethics discourse—such as ethical guidelines, checklists, and principles—but should also explore the potential for restoring poetic dwelling, and for revitalizing conversation through ethics by design. Conclusion: From the perspective of educational ethics, the direction and challenges of AI ethics education through moral education as a subject are as follows: first, to ensure that technical practices are informed by poetic thinking; and second, to guarantee focal moments of conversational engagement even within technical practices.
