한국어 불평 화행 학습 보조 도구로서의 ChatGPT 활용 가능성에 관한 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 한국어 불평 화행 학습 보조 도구로서 ChatGPT의 활용 가능성에 대해 살펴보았다. 방법 이를 위하여 GPTs 기능을 사용해 불평 화행 학습 보조 도구를 제작하였고 학습자들에게 실제로 사용해 보게 한 후 학습자들의 반응을 살폈다. 그리고 ChatGPT와 학습자들의 대화 기록을 살펴보고 유용한 점과 부족한 점을 살펴보았다. 결과 학습자들에게 프로그램에 대한 인식을 조사한 결과, 불평 화행 학습에 큰 도움이 되었고 자신감 향상에도 도움이 되었다는 응답이 많았으며 대화 기록을 살펴본 결과 ChatGPT가 연구자의 의도대로 불평 화행의 전략, 표현, 연습 대화 등을 잘 제공하고 유용한 피드백을 주었음을 알 수 있었다. 결론 ChatGPT를 활용하여 만든 한국어 불평 화행 학습 보조 도구는 기술적 한계를 보이는 부분도 있었으나 학습자들의 불평 화행 연습에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study examined the potential use of ChatGPT as a supplementary tool for learning Korean complaint speech acts. Methods To achieve this, a learning aid for complaint speech acts was developed using GPTs' functionality and tested with learners. Learners' reactions were observed after they used the tool, and the conversation logs between ChatGPT and the learners were analyzed to identify its strengths and weaknesses. Results The survey on learners' perceptions of the program revealed that many found it highly beneficial for learning complaint speech acts and boosting their confidence. Analysis of the conversation logs indicated that ChatGPT effectively provided strategies, expressions, and practice dialogues for complaint speech acts as intended by the researcher, along with useful feedback. Conclusions While there were some technical limitations, the ChatGPT-based Korean complaint speech act learning aid positively influenced learners' practice of complaint speech acts.
