국문 초록

본 연구는 구조적 특성상 화재에 취약하며, 화재, 피난 안전에 대한 불안감이 높아지고 있는 아파트를 대상으로 거주자들의 화재, 피난 인식에 영향을 미치는 주요 요소를 설문조사를 통해 분석하였다. 설문 문항은 화재 발생 시 거주자의 안전 인식과 피난 가능성을 평가할 수 있도록 하였으며, 이를 통해 피난계획의 개선 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 아파트 거주자의 화재안전감에는 계단 유지관리가 가장 큰 영향을 미치므로, 기본적인 피난 경로의 확보가 중요하다. 둘째, 방화문은 거주자의 화재 및 피난 인식에 가장 큰 영향을 미치므로 성능 향상과 관리 강화가 필요하다. 셋째, 양방향 피난 가능성도 피난 인식에 큰 영향을 미치므로, 적절한 대피공간의 계획과 AI 등을 활용한 피난경로 안내시스템 도입이 필요할 것으로 사료된다. 넷째, 대피공간 인식이 높은 거주자가 피난과 관련하여 긍정적인 인식을 보이므로 대피공간에 대한 교육과 안내가 필요하다. 다섯째, 피난안전구역은 현재 주로 50층 이상일 경우 설치되고 있으나, 분석결과 더 낮은 층수에서도 설치 필요성이 제기되어 이에 대한 추가 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다. 본 연구의 결과는 보다 안전한 아파트 피난계획 수립에 기여할 것으로 사료되며, 향후 연구에 중요한 기초 자료가 될 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

This study investigates key factors influencing residents' perceptions of fire safety and evacuation in Apartment Complexes, which are structurally vulnerable to fire. A survey was conducted to evaluate residents' awareness of fire safety and evacuation feasibility, with the aim of proposing improvements to evacuation planning. The results indicate that stairwell maintenance is the most critical factor for ensuring primary evacuation routes, while the performance and maintenance of fire doors significantly influence fire safety and evacuation perceptions. Furthermore, bi-directional evacuation feasibility emerged as a crucial factor, underscoring the need for adequate refuge spaces and the adoption of AI-based evacuation route guidance systems. Residents with higher awareness of refuge spaces demonstrated more positive perceptions of evacuation, highlighting the importance of education and clear guidance. Lastly, there is a growing demand for evacuation safety zones at lower floors, beyond the current standard for buildings over 50 stories, necessitating further research on existing evacuation plans. The findings of this study provide valuable insights for enhancing fire safety and evacuation strategies in Apartment Complexes and serve as a foundation for future research.
