국문 초록

목적 디지털 교육 전문성이 있는 초등교사들의 관점에서 수학과 AIDT 활용 가능성 및 특수교육대상자를 포함한 학습에 어려움을 겪는 학습자들을 위한 적용 방안을 탐색하고 앞으로의 발전 방안을 모색하였다. 방법 탐구적 사례연구를 적용하여 연구 참여자 5명을 대상으로 반구조화 면담을 실시하고 총 3차에 걸쳐 코드북을 개발하였다. 7영역 27개의 코드로 범주화하여 전사본을 코딩하고 결과를 정리하였다. 결과 교사들은 AIDT의 적용 방안, 범위 및 정도에 대한 차이가 있었지만 수학과의 각 영역에서 폭넓은 활용 기대를 보였고 어려움을 겪는 학습자의 지원과 이를 위한 협력적 접근의 가능성을 확인하였다. 결론 교사의 수업 전문성을 기반으로 AI가 제공하는 정보의 한계를 인식하고 학습자의 연령, 인지적 자원, 교육적 요구 등에 따라 유연하게 적용하며 수업을 효과적으로 지원하는 ‘도구’로서의 AIDT를 활용해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study explores the potential use of AIDT in mathematics education from the perspective of elementary school teachers with expertise in digital education. It also examines application strategies for supporting students with difficulties, including those with special educational needs(SEN), and seeks future development directions. Methods An exploratory case study was carried out, involving semi-structured interviews with five teachers who have experience using AI courseware and AIDT. The collected data were categorized into 27 codes across seven subjects. Results Although teachers showed differences in the application strategies, scope, and extent of AIDT, they recognized its broad applicability across various areas of mathematics and its potential for supporting students with difficulties in learning including a collaborative approach with other teachers and parents. Conclusions Based on teachers' instructional expertise, AIDT should be used as a “tool” to effectively support teaching by recognizing the limitations of information provided by AI and flexibly applying it according to students' age, cognitive resources, and educational needs.
