부패인식이 농촌발전에 미치는 영향 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 1995년부터 2021년까지 연간 시계열 자료를 이용하여 부패인식과 농촌발전 사이의 장기 및 단기의 인과관계를 분석했다. 분석을 위해 EGARCH(Exponential generalized autoregressive conditional heteroskedastic) 와 자기회귀시차(ARDL : Autoregressive Distributed Lag) 모형을 이용하였다. 분석결과, 부패인식지수는 부가가치 변화율에 장기 및 단기에 걸쳐 양(+)의 영향을미쳤다. ARDL 모형에서 부패인식지수는 단기에는 0.06%, 장기에는 0.16% 수준으로 부가가치를 증가시켰다. 농업인구수는 ARDL 모형의 단기에 변화율이 16.4%에 이르는 것으로 나타나 농업인구수가 증가할 때 부가가치 역시 증가하는 것으로 분석되었다. 반면 실업률은 ARDL 모형 단기에 실업률 상승이부가가치를 0.3% 감소시켰고 장기에도 0.6% 감소시켰다. 이처럼 농업부가가치와 부패인식지수, 농업인구수, 실업률 사이에 강한 인과관계를 확인했다. 이러한 분석결과를 토대로 농업부가가치를 높이는방향으로 부패인식지수와 국가브랜드가치를 높이는 정책이 요구된다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the long-run and short-run causal relationship between corruption perceptions and rural development using annual time series data from 1995 to 2021. For the analysis, EGARCH and ARDL models were used. As a result of the analysis, the corruption perceptions index had a positive (+) effect on the value-added change rate over the long-run and short-run. In the ARDL model, the corruption perception index increased its added value to 0.06% in the short-run and 0.16% in the long-run. The rate of change in the number of agricultural populations reached 16.4% in the short run of the ARDL model, and it was analyzed that the added value also increased when the number of agricultural populations increased. On the other hand, in the short term, rising unemployment reduced added value by 0.3% and decreased by 0.6% in the long term. As such, a strong causal relationship was confirmed between agricultural value added, corruption perceptions index, agricultural population number, and unemployment rate. Based on the results of this analysis, policies to increase the corruption perceptions index and national brand value are required in the direction of increasing agricultural added value.
