유아교사의 교수효능감이 교사-유아 상호작용에 미치는 영향: 사회적지지 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사의 교수효능감이 교사-유아 상호작용에 미치는 영향에서 사회적지지가 매개하는지 분석하고, 교수효능감을 향상시키기 위한 효과적인 지원 체계를 구축하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 서울 및 경기 지역의 유아교사 312명을 대상으로 자기보고식 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 상관분석과 PROCESS Macro Model 4를 활용한 매개효과 분석을 수행하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 교수효능감, 사회적지지, 교사-유아 상호작용 간에는 유의한 정적 상관관계가 나타나, 교수효능감과 사회적지지가 높을수록 유아와의 상호작용의 질이 향상됨을 확인하였다. 둘째, 사회적지지는 교수효능감과 교사-유아 상호작용 간의 관계에서 부분매개 역할을 하였으며, 이는 교수효능감이 높은 교사가 직장 내·외에서 풍부한 사회적지지를 인식할수록 유아와의 친밀하고 긍정적인 상호작용을 더욱 촉진할 가능성이 높다는 것을 보여준다. 이러한 연구 결과는 유아교사의 교수효능감을 향상시키기 위해 개별 교사의 전문성 개발 뿐만 아니라, 직장 내·외의 사회적지지를 강화하는 체계적이고 제도적인 지원이 필요함을 강조한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine whether social support mediates the relationship between early childhood teachers' teaching efficacy and teacher-child interactions, as well as to propose an effective support system for enhancing teaching efficacy. To this end, a self-report survey was administered to 312 early childhood teachers working in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, and the collected data were analyzed using correlation analysis and PROCESS Macro Model 4 to test the mediation effects. The findings of this study are as follows. First, significant positive correlations were observed among teaching efficacy, social support, and teacher-child interactions, demonstrating that higher levels of teaching efficacy and social support are associated with improved quality of teacher-child interactions. Second, social support was found to partially mediate the relationship between teaching efficacy and teacher-child interactions. This suggests that teachers with higher teaching efficacy tend to perceive greater social support both within and outside the workplace, which in turn facilitates the development of closer and more positive interactions with young children.
