국문 초록

본 연구는 1~2학년 미술교육의 연계성을 탐색하기 위해, 2022 개정 즐거운 생활교육과정의 미술 관련 내용과 미국 국가핵심 예술기준의 1~2학년 미술 교과 내용을비교 분석하였다. 또한, 즐거운 생활 교과서와 미국 검인정 미술 탐구 2판 교과서를비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 얻은 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 누리과정, 즐거운 생활, 미술 교과로 이어지는 연계성을 분석한 결과 미적 체험, 표현, 감상 세 영역에서모두 연계되지 않는 내용 요소가 나타났다. 둘째, 즐거운 생활 교육과정 및 교과서에서 조형 요소와 원리, 재료, 미술 용어, 미적 체험의 대상을 언급하지 않거나 협소하게 나타내었다. 셋쨰, 즐거운 생활 교과서에서는 미술 매체를 주체적으로 다루며탐구하기보다 도움 자료를 활용하는 수업이 많았다. 향후 교육 내용의 단절을 극복하고의미 있는 학습을 위해서는 1~2학년군에 미술과의 지식과 과정을 포함하여야 할것이다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to explore the connectivity of art education in grades 1-2 by comparing and analyzing the art-related content in the 2022 revised Pleasant Life curriculum with the art curriculum content for grades 1 and 2 in the U.S. National Coalition for Core Arts Standards. Additionally, it compares and analyzes the Pleasant Life textbook with the U.S. approved Explorations in Art, 2nd textbook. The key findings from this analysis are as follows. First, an analysis of the connectivity among the Nuri Curriculum, Pleasant Life, and the Art Curriculum revealed that there were content elements in the areas of aesthetic experience, expression, and appreciation that were not connected. Second, in the Pleasant Life curriculum and textbooks, elements and principles of art, materials, art vocabulary, and objects of aesthetic experience were either not mentioned or presented in a limited manner. Third, the Pleasant Life textbook primarily focuses on utilizing supplementary materials rather than actively exploring and engaging with art media. To overcome future discontinuities in the curriculum and ensure meaningful learning, the knowledge and processes of art should be included in the curriculum for first and second graders.
