국문 초록

융합과 통합이 시대적 담론이 되어가는 현시대의 교육 패러다임은 일반화(또는빅 아이디어)를 중심으로 한 교육과정의 개편으로 이어지고 있다. 이를 위해 2022개정교육과정에서는 ‘핵심 아이디어’를 새롭게 도입하여 간학문적 통합을 추구하고 심층적인 이해를 위한 개념 기반의 교수·학습 설계를 장려한다. 또한 융합 교과를 신설하여창의적인 융합형 인재를 양성하고자 하는 목표의식을 표명한다. 그러나 교육 현장에서는 융합교육의 실행에 있어서 예술 교과의 수단화에 대한 문제점이 지속적으로제기되고 있다. 이러한 문제의식을 바탕으로 본고에서는 첫째, 융합교육에서의 미술의역할을 재정립하고, 둘째, 일반화를 기반으로 하는 개념적 접근의 교수 설계의 가능성을탐색함으로써 타 영역과 미술의 동등한 상호작용이 가능한 융합교육의 방향성을모색한다. 또한 셋째, 범학문적 거시 개념을 개념적 렌즈로 선정하여 미술과, 사회과, 과학과의 내용을 연계한 개념적 접근의 융합교육 프로그램을 제안함으로써 학문의분절화를 완화하고 융합적 소양을 함양하는 미래 교육의 실천적 방향을 제시한다.

영문 초록

The current educational paradigm, in which convergence and integration are becoming the discourse of the times, is shifting to reform curriculum to focus on “generalization”. The 2022 Revised National Curriculum has introduced new core ideas to pursue interdisciplinary integration and encourage concept-based instructional design for in-depth understanding, aiming to cultivate convergent talents. However, the issues of the practical application of art courses in convergence education continue to arise. First, this study redefines the role of art in convergence education, building on the awareness of this problem. Second, it explores the potential of a generalizaion-based conceptual approach to the instructional design process. It aims to identify a direction for convergence education where equal interaction between art and other disciplines is possible. Finally, this study proposes a concept-based convergence education program that connects the contents of art, social studies, and science through the conceptual lens of macro concept. It offers a practical direction for future education, fostering convergent knowledge while reducing the fragmentation of disciplines.
