국문 초록

미술에서의 공간 개념은 디지털 시대의 공간에서 포스트 디지털 시대로 전환되며새로운 국면을 맞이하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 미술교육에서 다룬 공간 개념의 변화를알아보고, 포스트 디지털 시대 공간의 확장에 따른 미술교육의 방향성을 탐구하였다. 미술에서의 공간을 크게 디지털 이전의 공간, 디지털 시대의 공간, 포스트 디지털시대의 공간으로 구분하여 포스트 디지털 시대 미술에서의 공간은 혼종적이며 해체, 변형, 공유와 접근이 쉽다는 특징을 지님을 확인하였다. 또한 포스트 디지털 시대의미술교육에서의 공간은 물리적 공간-가상공간, 외적-내적 공간의 경계가 모호해지며탈경계적으로 넘나들며 이루어진다고 보았다. 이에 포스트 디지털 시대의 미술교육에서 중요한 것은 매체를 활용하는 테크닉에만 한정된 디지털 리터러시를 넘어서는탈경계의 시선으로, 어떻게 활용할 것인가에 대한 포스트 디지털 리터러시의 관점이필요함을 고찰하였다.

영문 초록

As the concept of space in art transitions from the digital era to the post-digital era, it enters a new phase. This study examines the changes in the concept of space addressed in art education and explores the direction of art education in response to the expansion of space in the post-digital era. By categorizing space in art into three phases—pre-digital space, digital space, and post-digital space—this study identifies that space in post-digital art is characterized by hybridity, deconstruction, transformation, accessibility, and ease of sharing. Furthermore, in post-digital art education, the boundaries between physical and virtual spaces, as well as external and internal spaces, become increasingly ambiguous, allowing for a seamless, transboundary experience. Consequently, this study argues that post-digital art education should go beyond mere technical proficiency in digital literacy and adopt a post-digital literacy perspective that considers how media can be meaningfully utilized from a transboundary viewpoint.
