고교학점제에서의 진로 탐색 미술 활동에 관한 질적 사례연구 - 공동 주체성(co-agency)의 가능성과 한계

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 고교학점제 맥락의 진로 탐색 미술 활동에 실제와 공동 주체성의가능성과 한계를 질적 사례연구로 살펴 교육적 시사점을 도출하는 것에 있다. 이를위해 진로 탐색 미술 활동에 참여한 교사 3명과 학생 6명의 심층 면담, 참여 관찰과연구자가 수집한 자료에 대해 분석하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 고교학점제의 목적과다르게 대학입시와의 불일치는 교과 자체가 힘의 논리로 작용하며, 이 과정에서교사는 무력감과 실패 경험의 부재를 경험하고 있었다. 둘째, 교사와 학생 모두 입시경쟁의 압박과 행복 추구라는 가치 사이에서 딜레마를 경험하며, 학생의 진로 탐색과정에서의 불안감은 교사와의 협력적 관계를 통해 극복할 수 있다. 셋째, 진로 탐색미술 활동은 공동 주체성을 발현하는 중요한 기반이 되며, 학생들이 교육에 주체적으로참여하고 교사들이 협력하는 경험은 새로운 교육적 가능성을 열어준다. 넷째, 미술교육은 학생들에게 사유의 기회를 제공하고 협력적 창작 활동을 통해 성취감을 도모함으로써 공동 주체성 함양에 기여할 수 있다. 다섯째, 학교 현장에서 지속 가능한진로 탐색 활동을 위해서는 진행 시기, 교사 개인 역량에 의존하는 문제점 개선, 학생 모두를 위한 참여 방안, 에듀테크 사용, 예산 확보 등 다양한 측면에서의 고려가필요하다. 본 연구는 고교학점제에서 진로 탐색 미술 활동의 실제가 어떠한지에대한 구체적 사례를 제시하고 공동 주체성에 대해 살펴보았다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 본 연구를 통해 급변하는 제도적 흐름 속에 미술교육의 역할과 가치를 재정립하고, 학생과 교사가 함께 성장하는 공동체 문화를 형성해 갈 수 있길 바란다.

영문 초록

This research aims to identify educational implications by examining career exploration art activities in the high school credit system context and the possibilities and limitations of co-agency through qualitative case study. Analysis of data from 3 teachers and 6 students revealed: (1) the mismatch between credit system goals and university entrance requirements creates power dynamics where teachers experience helplessness and an absence of experiences with failure; (2) both stakeholders navigate tensions between examination pressures and happiness pursuit, with teacher-student collaboration helping overcome career-related anxieties; (3) art-based career exploration activities foster co-agency development and create new educational opportunities; (4) art education contributes to co-agency by enabling contemplation and collaborative achievement; and (5) sustainable implementation requires addressing timing concerns, reducing dependence on individual teacher capabilities, ensuring inclusive participation, integrating educational technology, and securing adequate funding. This study provides concrete examples of art-based career exploration within the credit system while highlighting co-agency's significance, aiming to redefine art education's role amid changing institutional contexts.
