상담사 보조용 AI 개발을 위한 탐색적 연구: 상담사의 요구 및 우려와 기술적 대응에 대한 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구는 상담사 보조용 AI 개발을 위한 기초 연구로, 상담사의 AI 보조 도구에 대한 요구 및 우려를 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 한국상담학회 또는 한국상담심리학회 1급 자격증 소지자이거나 2급 자격증 취득 후 5년 이상 실무경험을 지닌 상담사 45명을 대상으로 개 방형 설문을 실시하였고, CQR-M을 활용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과, AI 보조 도구에 대한 요구로 회기 준비 및 정리 보조, 회기 내 상담개입의 효과 촉진, 내담자의 상담몰입을 위 한 도구의 효율적 제공 등 3개의 범주와 11개의 하위범주가 도출되었다. 또, AI 보조 도 구에 대한 우려로는 윤리적 문제, 상담 흐름 및 진행 방해, 상담사의 부담 가중, 상담사 의 역할 축소 등 4개 범주와 9개의 하위범주가 도출되었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 상담 사의 요구를 반영하고 우려를 보완할 수 있는 최신 인공지능 기술을 제언하였고, 상담사 보조용 AI 개발을 위한 시사점 및 기술적 대응 방안에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This preliminary study explores counselors’ perspectives on two areas relevant to the development of an AI assistant tools for counseling, based on open-ended survey responses from 45 licensed professional counselors with advanced certification, analyzed using CQR-M. In the area of needs for AI assistant tools, 3 categories and 11 subcategories were derived, including supporting session preparation and review, enhancing the effectiveness of in-session interventions, and efficiently providing tools that improve clients’ engagement. In the area of concerns about AI assistant tools, 4 categories and 9 subcategories were identified, including ethical issues, disruptions to the flow of counseling sessions, increased workload for counselors, and diminishing the role of counselors. Based on these findings, we propose a strategy for translating state-of-the-art AI techniques into counseling practice to meet counselors' needs while addressing their concerns.
