국문 초록

본 연구는 우울을 호소하는 내담자가 경험한 상담성과에 영향을 미치는 상담 관계요인 을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 최근 1년 이내에 우울 증상으로 인해 5회기 이 상의 상담을 받은 49명을 대상으로 순차적 설명설계를 활용한 혼합연구를 진행했다. 먼 저, 양적 설문을 통해 작업동맹 및 실제 관계가 지각된 우울 감소에 미친 영향을 다중회 귀분석으로 분석한 결과, 작업동맹 점수가 높을수록, 실제관계 점수는 오히려 낮을수록 참여자들이 지각한 우울감 감소에 정적인 영향을 준 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 심층적으로 설명하고 해석하기 위해 양적 설문 참여자 중 지각된 우울 감소량이 상대적 으로 큰 참여자 16명을 대상으로 면담을 진행하여 상담성과에 영향을 미친 상담 관계요 인이 무엇이었는지 탐색하고 합의적 질적연구방법으로 분석하였다. 그 결과, ‘수용적 관 계’와 ‘작업적 관계’ 두 범주가 도출되었다. 이상의 혼합연구 결과를 바탕으로 우울 상담 성과에 영향을 미치는 상담 관계요인을 심층적으로 이해하기 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to explore the counseling relationship factors that affect counseling outcomes for clients who suffer from depression. A mixed-methods approach using a sequential explanatory design was conducted with 49 individuals who had attended at least five counseling sessions for depressive symptoms within the past year. Quantitative analysis revealed that higher working alliance scores had a positive impact on perceived depression reduction, whereas lower real relationship scores also had a positive effect. To further understand these findings, in-depth interviews with 16 participants who reported significant depression reduction were analyzed using Consensual Qualitative Research (CQR), identifying two categories: “accepting relationship” and “task-oriented relationship.” The findings provide insights into counseling relationship factors influencing outcomes in depression counseling.
