국문 초록

본 연구는 한일 대학 학습자의 문화 교류 활동 사례를 분석하여 해외 대학 초급 학습자를 대상으로 한 문화 교육에 참조할 수 있는 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 교류 활동에 참여한 학습자를 대상으로 만족도 조사를 실시하여 문화 교류 활동에 대한 학습자의 인식을 분석하였다. 특히 본 연구는 언어 능력, 문화 소통 능력, 문화 수용 능력, 상호작용 능력이라는 문화 교류 능력에 필요한 세부 능력을 중심으로 분석 결과를 제시함으로써 한국어 문화 교류의 관점에서 실질적인 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구 결과 해외 대학 초급 학습자가 현지 환경을 벗어나 한국어로 문화 교류를 수행할 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다. 또한 사전 학습과 비대면 교수·학습 환경을 활용한 문화 교류 활동은 해외 대학 초급 학습자를 위한 지속 가능하고 효과적인 문화 교육 방안의 가능성을 보여주었다. 본 연구의 성과는 향후 다양한 문화 교류 활동의 설계와 실행에 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

This study examined the cultural exchange activities between Japanese and Korean university students to provide insights into cultural education targeting beginner-level learners at overseas universities. A satisfaction survey was conducted with the participants to examine their perceptions of cultural exchange activities. This study focuses on specific abilities essential for cultural exchange, including linguistic competence, cultural communication skills, cultural receptivity, and interaction skills, to draw practical implications from a Korean cultural exchange perspective. The findings revealed that beginner-level learners at overseas universities could effectively engage in cultural exchanges in Korea, outside their local environments. Moreover, the integration of pre-learning activities and online learning environments has been shown to be a sustainable and effective approach to cultural education for beginner-level learners. The results are anticipated to serve as a foundational resource for the design and implementation of various cultural exchange activities in the future.
