국문 초록

본 연구에서는 2022년 6월 대전시교육감 선거에서 각 후보들이 제시한 후보별 교육정책을 분석함으로써 대전시교육감 선거에서의 각 후보별 교육정책의 특징과 그에 따른 시사점을 논의하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 포털사이트를 통해 공개된 4명의 후보자별 선거공약을 분석하였고, Python 프로그래밍을 활용하였다. 연구결과, 설동호 후보는 ‘미래역량강화교육-창의·융합형 인재양성교육’ 분야의 공약이 주효하면서 3선에 성공했다. 각 후보들의 핵심 정책사례와 주요 핵심공약에서는 학교환경과 교육과정, 교육의 질 개선과 학교 관련정책이 중점 교육정책으로 제시되었고, 특히 학교-교육, 교육-지원, 지원-운영이 상호의존적으로 작용하였으며, 학생과 교사 중심의 교육공동체 강화, 교육환경의 물리적 여건 조성, 다양한 정책대상의 포함은 후보들이 다루는 정책에서 필수적인 핵심과제로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 대전시교육감 선거에서 실현가능성과 실행력을 강조한 교육정책에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes the educational policies proposed by each candidate in the June 2022 election for the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education Superintendent, examining their distinct characteristics and implications. To achieve this objective, the campaign pledges of four candidates, publicly disclosed through online portals, were analyzed using Python programming. The findings revealed The core policy examples and primary pledges of the candidates highlighted key areas such as school environ- ments, curriculum quality enhancement, and school-related policies. Notably, interdependent relationships were identified among school-education, education-support, and support-administration policies. Essential policy objectives included strengthening the education community centered on students and teachers, improving the physical conditions of educational environments, and addressing the needs of diverse policy targets. Based on these findings, the study discusses the importance of emphasizing feasibility and implementability in future educational policies for Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education elections.
