외국인 유학생의 대학서비스품질에서 대학생활만족을 매개로 충성도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

학력인구가 급격하게 감소하면서 대학의 위기를 극복하는 방안 중 하나로 외국인 유학생 유치가 핵심 대책으로 떠오르고 있다. 최근 외국인 유학생을 유치하려는 노력으로 외국인 유학생의 수는 꾸준히 증가하고 있지만, 중도 탈락률도 점차 늘어나고 있다는 점에서 이에 대한 보완책 마련이 필요한 상황이다. 이에 충성도와 대학생활에 대한 만족도를 높여 외국인 유학생 유지 및 중도 포기의 문제없이 학업을 지속할 수 있는 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 외국인 유학생을 대상으로 대학서비스품질, 대학생활만족, 충성도 간의 관계를 살펴보고, 그 영향관계에 있어 학생생활만족의 매개효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다, 첫째, 대학서비스품질은 대학생활만족에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생활만족의 학생만족과 수업만족은 충성도에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대학서비스품질이 충성도에 미치는 영향관계에서 대학생활만족은 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석 결과는 외국인 유학생의 대학서비스품질 측면 관리의 필요성을 인지하고 대학생활만족과 충성도도를 향상시키기 위한 노력이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

As the educational background population decreases rapidly, attracting foreign students is emerging as a key measure to overcome the crisis in universities. Recently, the number of foreign students has been steadily increasing due to efforts to attract foreign students, but since the dropout rate is also gradually increasing, it is necessary to prepare supplementary measures. Accordingly, research is needed to increase loyalty and satisfaction with university life so that students can continue their studies without the problem of maintaining foreign students and giving up halfway. Therefore, this study attempted to examine the relationship between university service quality, university life satisfaction, and loyalty for foreign students, and to find out the mediating effect of student life satisfaction in the impact relationship. The analysis results are as follows. First, The analysis results are as follows. First, it was established that university service quality obtained a positive relation satisfaction with university life. Second, among the factors of satisfaction with university life that school satisfaction and class satisfaction were positively related to loyal. Third, as a result of an inquiry into the impact of university service quality on loyal, it turned out that university life satisfaction had a partial mediating effect. These analysis results suggest that efforts are needed to recognize the necessity of managing international students' university service quality aspects and to improve college life satisfaction and loyalty.
