예비유아교사의 PBL과 디자인씽킹에 기반한 영유아프로그램 개발 경험

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사를 대상으로 PBL과 디자인씽킹에 기반한 영유아프로그램 개발 경험을 탐색하고 그 의미를 살펴보는 데 있다. 본 연구는 K지역에 위치한 4년제 S대학 유아교육과 3학년 학생 25명을 연구참여자로 선정하여 2022년 9월부터 12월까지 총 15주간 영유아프로그램개발및평가 수업에서 PBL과 디자인씽킹 기반의 영유아프로그램 개발에 참여하도록 하였다. 연구참여자의 반성적 저널과 심화 면담자료를 연구자료로 수집하여 PBL과 디자인씽킹 기반의 영유아프로그램 개발 과정에서의 예비유아교사의 경험을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, PBL 기반 영유아프로그램 개발 과정에 대한 경험은 ‘백지 위에서 세워진 유치원’과 ‘끊임없는 질문이 만들어낸 결과물’로 나타나고, 디자인씽킹 기반 영유아프로그램 개발 과정에 대한 경험은 ‘시각을 바꾸어준 공감’과 ‘머릿속 상상을 실현해내는 도전’으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 PBL과 디자인씽킹에 기반한 영유아프로그램 개발 수업이 영유아교사에게 필요한 질문의 힘과 공감능력, 협력적 문제해결력 증진을 위한 효과적인 방안이 될 수 있음을 밝혔다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the experience of developing an early childhood program that based on PBL and design thinking for pre-service early childhood teachers and to examine its meaning. In this study, 25 students in the 3rd grade of the Department of Early Childhood Education at S University, located in the K area, were selected as participants to participate in the development of PBL and design thinking-based early childhood programs in early childhood program development and evaluation classes for a total of 15 weeks from September to December 2022. As a result of the study, the experience of the PBL-based early childhood program development process appeared as 'kindergarten built on white paper' and 'the result of constant questions', and the experience of the design thinking-based infant program development process was analyzed as 'empathy that changed the perspective' and 'the challenge of realizing the imagination in the head'. This study is significant in that it revealed that an early childhood program development class that based on PBL and design thinking can be an effective way to improve the power, empathy, and cooperative problem-solving skills required for early childhood teachers.
