교권(敎權) 관련 국내 연구동향 분석: 2000년~2024년 3월 국내 학술지를 대상으로

국문 초록

목적 이 연구는 국내 학술지에 게재된 ‘교권(敎權)’ 관련 연구물의 동향을 분석하여 교권 연구의 현황을 파악하고, 교사의 권리와 역할을 명확하게 하기 위한 정책적 시사점과 향후 연구 방향을 제안함이 목적이다. 방법 2000년부터 2024년 3월까지 국내 학술지에 게재된 총 101편의 논문을 연구대상으로 선정하여, 분류 기준과 평가자 간 일치도 검증을 통해 연구시기, 연구대상, 연구방법 및 연구주제에 따른 내용을 분석하고 빈도를 산출하였다. 결과 첫째, 연구주제를 6개의 대주제로 유목화하고, 이를 기반으로 31개의 소주제를 도출한 결과, 대주제 중에서는‘교권’, ‘교권침해’, ‘교권보호’의 순으로 이들 3개의 주제가 86.2%를 차지하며 가장 많았다. 소주제에서는 ‘권리’, ‘권한’, ‘권위’ 및 ‘지위’와 관련된 논문이 18.1%로 가장 많이 연구되었다. 둘째, 연구시기별 동향으로는 2012년을 기점으로 다수의 논문이 발표되었고, 최근 2023년에는 직전연도의 10배 이상으로 폭발적인 증가를 보이며 ‘교권’ 문제가 사회적으로 큰 관심을 받고 있음이 확인되었다. 셋째, 연구대상 측면에서는 인적 대상의 논문이 66.3%, 문헌 연구와 같은 물적 대상의 논문이 33.7%로 나타났다. 넷째, 연구방법론 측면에서는 다양한 연구기법이 활용되고 있으며, 문헌 연구가 44.6%로 가장 많이 사용된 것으로 확인되었다. 결론 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 ‘교권’ 관련 연구의 정책적 시사점과 향후 연구 방향의 다양화와 심층화에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study is to analyze the trends of studies related to “teachers’ rights” that have been published in Korean academic journals to identify the current status of research on teachers’ rights, and to suggest policy implications and future research directions to clarify the rights and roles of teachers. Methods A total of 101 articles published in Korean academic journals from 2000 to March 2024 were selected as the research subjects. The content was analyzed and frequencies were calculated based on the research period, research subjects, research methods, and research topics through classification criteria and inter-rater agreement verification. Results First, the research topics were classified into six major topics, and 31 subtopics were derived based on them. Among the major topics, the most frequent three topics were “teachers’ rights,” “infringement of teachers’ rights,” and “protection of teachers’ rights,” accounting for 86.2%. In terms of subtopics, articles related to “rights,” “power,” “authority,” and “status” were the most studied at 18.1%. Second, the timing of the research shows that the issue of “teachers’ rights” is gaining significant attention in society, as can be seen in a large number of articles published starting in 2012 and an explosive increase in 2023, more than 10 times that of the previous year. Third, in terms of research subjects, 66.3% of the articles targeted human subjects and 33.7% targeted material subjects, such as literature reviews. Fourth, in terms of research methodology, a variety of research techniques are being utilized, with literature reviews being the most common (44.6%). Conclusions Based on these findings, this paper discussed the policy implications of research on “teachers’ rights” and the diversification and deepening of future research directions.
