국문 초록

본 연구는 선행 연구와 미용사들과의 심층 인터뷰를 바탕으로, 최근 변화하는 국내 미용사의 직급에 따른 근무체계와 특성을 분석하고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 미용실 종사자는 주로 인턴, 헤어디자이너, 원장으로 구분되며, 인턴(보조미용사)은 헤어디자이너를 보조하는 역할을 맡고 고용근로자로 근무한다. 인턴 기간을 마친 후, 미용사는 헤어디자이너로 승진하며, 고용형태는 임금근로자에서 특수형태 임금근로인 도급계약으로 전환되어 사업주와 계약을 체결한다. 원장은 미용실을 운영하는 개인사업자로, 사업주 역할을 맡게 된다. 본 연구는 미용사의 직급에 따른 근무체계 개선을 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

Based on previous research and in-depth interviews with hairdressers, this study attempted to analyze recent changes in the direct paid work system and the characteristics of domestic hairdressers. Interns (assistant hairdressers) assist their seniors and work as paid employees. After completing their internship, hairdressers are promoted to hair designers, and their employment status changes from wage labor to a special form of wage labor, a contract for work. The accountant who enters into a contract with the employer is an individual business owner who runs a beauty saloon and takes on the role of the employer. This study can be used as basic information to improve direct-paid work systems for hairdressers.
