국문 초록

목적 연구는 학부모가 인식하는 보육교사의 언어와 비언어 요소(음성 및 시각적 요소)가 신뢰도, 전문성 및 호감도에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 서울과 경기도 소재 어린이집에 다니는 영유아의 부모 220을 대상으로 설문 조사를 하였으며, 이 중 중복 기재 등의 오류로 14부를 제외하고 최종적으로 206부를 분석하였다. 수집된 자료를 통해 피어슨 상관관계분석과 위계적 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 언어적 요소와 비언어적 요소(예: 음성 톤, 표정)가 상호 작용을 하여 부모의 보육교사에 대한 인식을 형성한다는 것을 밝혀냈다. 둘째, 신뢰성과 전문성 모두 언어적 및 비언어적 요소에 의해 영향을 받으며, 명확한 언어와 긍정적인 신체 언어는 교사의 전문성을 높인다. 호감도는 언어적 요소에 의해 크게 영향을 받지 않는다. 대신, 비언어적 요소, 특히 음성과 시각적 요소에 더 크게 영향을 받는다. 친절함과 우호성을 표현하는 비언어적 신호가 부모와의 긍정적인 관계를 형성하는 데 도움이 된다. 결론 이 연구는 학부모의 보육교사에 대한 인식을 형성하는 데 있어 언어적 및 비언어적 요소의 중요성을 강조한다. 언어적 요소는 신뢰성과 전문성을 전달하는 데 중요한 반면, 비언어적 요소, 특히 음성 및 시각적 요소는 호감도를 높이는 데 필수적이다. 따라서 보육교사는 신뢰를 구축하고 전문성을 발휘하며 학부모와 긍정적인 관계를 강화하기 위해 언어적 및 비언어적 요소를 조화롭게 활용해야 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study investigates the impact of language and non-verbal elements (vocal and visual) as perceived by parents on their perceptions of daycare teachers, specifically focusing on the dimensions of trustworthiness, professionalism, and likability. Methods To achieve this, a survey was conducted with 220 parents of young children attending daycare centers in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. After excluding 14 responses due to errors such as duplicate entries, a final sample of 206 responses was analyzed. Pearson correlation analysis and Hierarchical multiple regression analysis were performed on the collected data. Results First, it was found that both language and non-verbal elements (e.g., tone of voice, facial expressions) interact to shape parents' perceptions of daycare teachers. Second, both trustworthiness and professionalism are influenced by both language and non-verbal elements. Clear language and positive body language enhance the perceived professionalism of teachers. Likability, on the other hand, is less affected by language and is more significantly influenced by non-verbal elements, particularly vocal and visual aspects. Non-verbal signals that convey kindness and friendliness play a crucial role in establishing a positive relationship with parents. Conclusions This study highlights the importance of both language and non-verbal elements in shaping parents' perceptions of daycare teachers. While language is essential for conveying trustworthiness and professionalism, non-verbal elements, especially vocal and visual aspects, are critical for enhancing likability. Therefore, daycare teachers should effectively integrate both language and non-verbal elements to build trust, demonstrate professionalism, and foster positive relationships with parents.
