슈퍼바이지의 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 자기개방, 지각된 슈퍼바이저 진정성이 슈퍼비전 만족도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 슈퍼바이지의 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 자기개방, 지각된 슈퍼바이저 진정성이 슈퍼비전 만족도에 미치는 영향과 각 변인 간의 관련성을 탐색하였다. 방법 한 명의 슈퍼바이저에게 3번 이상 슈퍼비전을 받은 슈퍼바이지 261명을 대상으로 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움, 슈퍼바이지 자기개방, 지각된 슈퍼바이저 진정성, 슈퍼비전 만족도 척도 및 인구통계학적 질문으로 구성된 설문을 온라인으로 실시하였고, SPSS 26.0과 AMOS 28.0을 사용해 기술통계, 상관분석을 실시하였고, 부트스트래핑(bootstrapping)을 통해 간접효과를 살펴보았다. 결과 첫째, 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움은 슈퍼바이지 자기개방, 지각된 슈퍼바이저 진정성, 슈퍼비전 만족도와 부적 상관을 보였고, 슈퍼바이지 자기개방, 지각된 슈퍼바이저 진정성, 슈퍼비전 만족도는 서로 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움은 슈퍼바이저 진정성과 슈퍼비전 만족도에는 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않고, 슈퍼바이지 자기개방에만 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움은 슈퍼바이지 자기개방과 지각된 슈퍼바이저 진정성을 순차적으로 거쳐 슈퍼비전 만족도에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구를 통해 슈퍼비전 만족도에 영향을 주는 변인으로 슈퍼바이지 자기개방과 지각된 슈퍼바이저 진정성의 중요성이 드러났다. 이러한 결과는 슈퍼비전 장면에서 슈퍼바이지가 자신의 요인뿐만 아니라 내담자 요인, 슈퍼비전 관계 요인 등을 진솔하게 개방할 때, 슈퍼바이저의 진정성을 지각하고 슈퍼비전 만족도를 높일 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The present study explored the effects of fear of negative evaluation, self-disclosure, and perceived supervisory authenticity on supervision satisfaction and the associations between each variable. Methods An online survey of 261 supervisees who received at least three supervision visits from the same supervisor was administered to 261 supervisees, which included measures of fear of negative evaluation, supervisee self-disclosure, perceived supervisor authenticity, supervision satisfaction, and demographic questions. Descriptive statistics, correlational analyses, and mediating effects were conducted using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 28.0, and indirect effects were examined using bootstrapping. Results First, fear of negative evaluation was negatively related to self-disclosure, perceived supervisor authenticity, and supervision satisfaction, while self-disclosure, perceived supervisor authenticity, and supervision satisfaction were positively related to each other. Second, fear of negative evaluation had a direct effect on self-disclosure, but not on supervisor authenticity and supervision satisfaction. Third, fear of negative evaluation was found to affect supervision satisfaction through self-disclosure and perceived supervisor authenticity sequentially. Conclusions This study revealed the importance of supervisee self-disclosure as a variable that influences supervision satisfaction. These findings suggest that when supervisees open up about their own factors, as well as the factors of the client and the supervision relationship, in the supervisory context, supervisees perceive the supervisor's authenticity and increase supervision satisfaction.
