포스트휴먼 생태주의에 기반한 초등 음악 수업 방안 탐색

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 생태전환교육을 위한 시도로서 포스트휴먼 생태주의에 기반한 초등 음악 수업 방안을 탐색하는 것에 목적을 둔다. 방법 첫째, 최근 활발하게 논의되고 있는 생태전환교육이 포스트휴먼 생태주의로 접근될 수 있음을 논의한다. 둘째, 포스트휴먼 생태주의의 교육적 요소를 인지적·음악적 측면에서 도출한다. 셋째, 이를 바탕으로 포스트휴먼 생태주의에 기반한 초등 음악 수업모형을 도출한다. 넷째, 2022 개정 음악과 교육과정과 연계하여 초등 음악 수업에 적용할 수 있는 교수-학습 과정을 예시한다. 결과 포스트휴먼 생태주의에 기반한 음악 수업모형은 ‘감각하기(sensing)-상상하기(imagining)-참여하기(engaging)-채워가기(fulfilling)’의 네 단계로 구성되며, 각 단계는 2022 개정 음악과 교육과정의 연주, 감상, 창작 세 영역에 유연하게 적용될 수 있다. 결론 포스트휴먼 생태주의에 기반한 음악 교수-학습 방안은 음악의 보편적인 형식이나 요소에서 벗어나 몸으로 음악을 만나고 느끼는 과정을 핵심으로 하기에 모두가 참여하는 음악 수업을 실천할 수 있으며, 이러한 과정에서 학습자들은 음악과 자기의 삶을 창의적이고 실험적으로 확장할 수 있다. 포스트휴먼 생태주의에 기반한 음악 교수-학습이 활발하게 이루어지기 위해서는 조력자로서 교사의 역할 및 교사의 윤리적 태도가 전제되어야 하며, 교과를 넘나드는 유연한 수업 운영과 물리적 한계를 갖는 학교 환경에 대한 인식 변화가 필요하다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to explore music lesson plans for elementary education based on posthuman ecology as an initiative for ecological transformation education. Methods First, it is examined whether recent discussions on ecological transition education can be approached through the lens of posthuman ecology. Second, the educational elements of posthuman ecology are explored from both cognitive and musical perspectives. Third, based on this exploration, a music lesson model grounded in posthuman ecology is developed. Fourth, it presents an example of a teaching-learning process for elementary music lessons aligned with the 2022 revised music curriculum. Results The music class model based on posthuman ecology consists of four stages: ‘sensing-imagining-engaging-fulfilling’. Each stage can be flexibly applied to the three areas of performance, appreciation, and creation of the 2022 revised music education curriculum. Conclusions The music teaching-learning method based on posthuman ecology emphasizes the process of encountering and experiencing music through the body, rather than focusing on universal forms or elements of music. This approach facilitates music classes in which everyone participates. Through this process, learners can creatively and experimentally expand both their music and their lives. For the effective implementation of music teaching-learning based on posthuman ecology, the teacher's role as a facilitator and their ethical attitude are essential, along with flexible class operations that cross subject boundaries and a shift in awareness regarding the physical limitations of the school environment.
