국문 초록
목적 본 연구에서는 초·중등학교용 AI 기반 적응형 학습 플랫폼 내에서 학습자의 자기조절학습을 지원하는 기능의 적용 여부를 분석하고 AI 디지털교과서의 자기조절학습 지원 기능 설계에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.
방법 선행 문헌 검토를 통해 적응형 학습 환경에서 자기조절학습의 주요 구성 요소를 식별하고 Zimmerman의 자기조절학습 순환 모형에 따라 8개의 분석 대상 적응형 학습 플랫폼에서 구현된 기능을 평가하였다.
결과 분석대상 적응형 학습 플랫폼에서 학습자의 자기조절학습을 지원하는 기능이 이론에 기반하고 있지 않으며, 적용에 있어 일관성이 없음을 밝혀내고 예측, 수행, 자기 성찰 단계 전반에 걸쳐 기능 개선이 필요함을 확인하였다.
결론 주요 기능 개선 권장 사항으로는 예측 단계에서 목표 설정, 시간 및 노력 관리 기능의 적용 및 보완을 제안하였다. 수행 단계에서는 시각화, 환경구조화, 자기 기록, 자기 결과 등 기능의 확대 적용과 도움구하기 기능에 AI 튜터 기술의 적극 활용을, 성찰 단계에서는 학습자의 자기만족/정서 측정 및 반영 등을 제안하였다.
영문 초록
Objectives This study analyzed the application of features that support learners' self-regulated learning within AI-enabled adaptive learning platforms for K-12 schools and provided implications for the design of features that support self-regulated learning in AI digital textbooks.
Methods We identified key components of self-regulated learning in adaptive learning environments through a literature review and evaluated the features implemented in eight adaptive learning platforms selected for this study according to Zimmerman's self-regulated learning cycle model.
Results We found that the adaptive learning platforms we analyzed do not support learners' self-regulated learn ing in a theory-based manner and are inconsistent in their application, and identified the need for improvements across the forethought, performance, and reflection phases.
Conclusions We proposed key recommendations for improvements, including expanding the use of features such as goal setting, time and effort management in the forethought phase; enhancing features such as visualization, environment structuring, self-record, and self-results and leveraging AI tutor technology for help-seeking in the performance phase; measuring learners’ self-satisfaction/affect to inform the next phase of SRL.
