간호대학생의 의사소통명확성과 간호실무준비도가 환자안전간호활동에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 간호대학생을 대상으로 의사소통명확성, 간호실무준비도 및 환자안전간호활동 정도와 이들 간의 관계를 파악하고, 위계적 다중회귀분석으로 의사소통명확성과 간호실무준비도를 단계적으로 투입하여 환자안전간호활동에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하는 서술적 상관관계 연구를 한 후 교육프로그램 개발에 기여할 수 있는 기초자료를 제시하고자 시도하였다. 방법 2024년 4월 1일부터 4월 30일까지 Ｇ시 소재 일개 대학교 간호대학생 227명을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문 조사하였으며, 자료분석은 SPSS/WIN 26.0 프로그램을 이용하여 t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, Hierarchical regression으로 분석하였다. 결과 간호대학생의 환자안전간호활동과 의사소통 명확성(r=.54, p<.001), 환자안전간호활동과 간호실무준비도(r=.74, p<.001), 의사소통 명확성과 간호실무준비도(r=.46, p<.001)의 관계는 통계적으로 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 위계적 다중회귀분석 결과에서 환자안전간호활동에 유의하게 영향을 미치는 요인은 학교성적(β=.07, p=.041), 전공만족도(β=.19, p<.001), 간호실무준비도(β=.59, p<.001), 의사소통명확성(β=.20, p<.001)이며, 총 설명력은 61.9%로 나타났다(F=92.73, p<.001). 결론 간호대학생의 의사소통명확성과 간호실무준비도가 높을수록 환자안전간호활동이 증가하였다. 간호학생의 학교성적, 전공만족도, 의사소통명확성, 간호실무준비도는 환자안전간호활동에 영향을 미치는 중요한 변인인 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 간호대학생의 환자안전간호활동을 향상시키기 위한 교육 프로그램 개발에 기초자료를 제공하였다는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This is a descriptive correlation study that identifies the relationship between communication clarity, nursing practice readiness, and patient safety nursing activities for nursing students, and to identify the factors af fecting patient safety nursing activities by step-by-step introduction of communication clarity and nursing prac tice readiness through hierarchical multiple regression analysis. This study attempted to present basic data that can contribute to the development of educational programs. Methods The data for this study were collected through a questionnaire from 227 nursing students in G city at one university from April 1 to April 30, 2024, and the data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis using SPSS/WIN 26.0 program. Results The relationship between patient safety nursing activities and communication clarity (r=.54, p<.001), pa tient safety nursing activities and nursing practice readiness (r=.74, p<.001), and communication clarity and nurs ing practice readiness (r=.46, p<.001) among nursing students was found to be positively correlated. In the results of the hierarchical multiple regression analysis, the factors that significantly affect patient safety nursing activities were school performance (β = .07, p = .041), major satisfaction (β = .19, p<.001), nursing practice readiness (β = .59, p<.001), and communication clarity (β = .20, p<.001), and the total explanatory power was 61.9% (F = 92.73, p<.001). Conclusions The higher the nursing students’ communication clarity and nursing practice readiness, the more pa tient safety nursing activities increased. Nursing students’ school grades, major satisfaction, communication clarity, and nursing practice readiness were confirmed to be important variables affecting patient safety nursing activities. Therefore, this study is significant in that it provided basic data for the development of an educational program to improve nursing students’ patient safety nursing activities.
