국문 초록
목적 지역사회전환시설에 입소한 여성정신질환자의 재활경험에 대해 심층적 탐색 및 현상을 파악하고자 한다. 도출된 여성정신질환자의 재활 경험을 토대로, 정신질환자를 위한 정신재활 교육 및 자립 훈련프로그램을 개발하고, 입소자를 이해하기 위한 종사자용 교육 자료 개발의 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다.
방법 지역사회전환시설에 퇴소한 여성정신질환자를 대상으로, snowball sampling 방식을 통해 2022년 11월 4일부터 2023년 2월 24일까지 자료의 포화가 될 때까지 11명을 심층면담으로 자료 수집하였다. 여성정신질환자와 일대일로 60-120분간 심층면담을 통해, 입소경험을 통해 정신재활경험의 의미를 Colaizzi 현상학적 방법에 따라 주제모음, 주제의 범주화 단계로 분석하였다.
결과 여성정신질환자의 지역사회전환시설의 재활경험은 의 5개의 범주와 11개의 주제모음으로 도출되었다. 5개의 범주는 ‘규칙적인 일상생활 유지’, ‘사람과의 관계 시도’, ‘건강관리의 중요성 인식’, ‘제한과 선택의 경계’, ‘자립생활의 첫걸음’이었다. 참여자는 안전과 치료 중심의 정신병동과 자기결정권을 강조하는 정신질환자 공동생활가정의 중간단계로 지역사회전환시설에서 재활을 경험하였다.
결론 여성정신질환자의 지역사회전환시설에서 재활경험을 토대로 지역사회전환시설의 입소자를 위한 재활프로그램 개발 및 교육자료, 그리고 종사자를 위한 교육 자료 개발의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
영문 초록
Objectives The purpose of this study is to explore in-depth the rehabilitation experiences of female with mental illness admitted to community mental health transition facility and to understand the phenomena. Based on the rehabilitation experiences of female with mental illness, mental rehabilitation education and self-reliance training programs for female with mental illness are developed, and they are used as basic data for the development of ed ucational materials for workers to understand residents.
Methods For female with mental illness discharged from community mental health transition facility, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 11 people from November 4, 2022 to February 24, 2023, using the snowball sampling method until data saturation. Through in-depth interviews one-on-one with female with men tal illness for 60-120 minutes, the meaning of the experience of psychiatric rehabilitation through the admission experience was analyzed in the stages of theme collection and categorization according to the Colaizzi phenom enological method.
Results The rehabilitation experience of female with mental ill in community mental health transition facility was derived into 5 categories and 11 thematic collections. The five categories were ‘maintaining regular daily life’, ‘at tempting relationships with people’, ‘recognizing the importance of health management’, ‘the boundary between restrictions and choices’, and ‘the first step in independent life’. Participants experienced rehabilitation in com munity transition facility as an intermediate stage between psychiatric ward centered on safety and treatment and group homes for people with mental ill that emphasizes the right to self-determination.
Conclusions Based on the rehabilitation experience of female with mental illness in community mental health transition facility, it can be used as basic data for developing rehabilitation programs and educational materials for residents of community mental health transition facility and educational materials for workers.
