국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 사무직 근로자의 VDT(Visual Display Terminal) 증후군 예방 행위를 측정하는 도구를 개발하고, 도구의 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하는 것이다. 방법 VDT 증후군 예방 행위에 대한 도구의 예비문항을 개발하고 사무직 근로자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 최종 399부의 수집된 자료는 문항 분석, 탐색적 및 확인적 요인 분석, 준거 관련 타당도, 내적일관성을 사용하여 타당도 및 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 결과 최종 도구는 15개 문항과 3개 요인(신체적 자기관리, 스트레스 관리, 작업환경 관리)으로 구성되었으며, 분산의 61.4%를 설명했다. 확인적 요인 분석을 통해 15개 문항으로 구성된 이론적 모형이 모든 적합도 지수를 충족하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구도구와 VDT 증후군 자각증상 도구와 음의 상관관계를 확인하여 준거 관련 타당도를 확보하였다(r=-0.46, p<.001). 전체 도구의 Cronbach’s ⍺는 .91이었고, 하위 요인의 Cronbach’s ⍺ 는 .88~.76 범위였으며, 재검사 신뢰도는 .91이었고, 하위 요인의 신뢰도는 .73~.86 범위였다. 결론 이 도구는 사무직 근로자의 VDT 증후군에 대한 예방 행동을 측정하고 관리하는 데 사용할 수 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to develop a tool to measure VDT (Visual Display Terminal) syndrome prevention behaviors for office workers, and to verify the scale's validity and reliability. Methods The subjects were 399 office workers. Data were analyzed using item analysis, exploratory and con firmatory factor analysis, criterion-related validity, and internal consistency. Results The final scale consisted of 15 items and three factors (physical self-care, stress management, and work environment management), which explained 61.4% of the variance. Confirmatory factor analysis indicated that the theoretical model consisting of 15 items satisfied all goodness-of-fit indices. Criterion-related validity was demonstrated by the VDT syndrome scale (r=-0.46, p<.001). The Cronbach’s alpha for the total scale was .91, with subscale values ranging from .88 to .76, and the test-retest reliability was .91, with subscale values ranging from .73 to .86. Conclusions This tool can be used to measure the preventive behaviors for VDT syndrome among office workers.
