국문 초록

본 연구는 한국청소년정책연구원이 실시한 “2021년 10대 청소년의 정신건강 실태조사”를 바탕으로, 긍정적 부모양육태도, 부정적 부모양육태도, 지각된 스트레스, ADHD 사이의 구조적 관계를 분석하였다. 연구 대상은 청소년 정신건강 실태조사에 자발적으로 참여한 10대 청소년이며, 성별과 학생 또는 학교 밖 청소년 두 그룹으로 구분하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 긍정적 부모양육태도는 ADHD에 유의한 부적 영향을 주었으며, 부정적 부모양육태도와 지각된 스트레스는 ADHD에 유의한 정적 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 긍정적 부모양육태도는 지각된 스트레스에 유의한 부적 영향을, 부정적 부모양육태도는 유의한 정적 영향을 주었다. 부모양육태도와 ADHD 사이에서 지각된 스트레스는 유의한 매개효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 스트레스가 ADHD에 영향을 주는 요인임을 밝힘으로써, ADHD 청소년의 양육환경과 스트레스 영향에 대한 재논의 방향성을 제시했다는 것에 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study examined the structural relationships between positive and negative parenting attitudes, perceived stress, and ADHD, using data from the “2021 Mental Health Survey of Teenagers” conducted by the Korea Youth Policy Institute. The participants were adolescents who voluntarily took part in the survey, and they were categorized by gender and whether they were students or out-of-school youth. The key findings are as follows: First, positive parenting attitudes had a significant negative impact on ADHD symptoms, whereas negative parenting attitudes and higher levels of perceived stress had a significant positive impact on ADHD. Second, positive parenting attitudes significantly reduced perceived stress, while negative parenting attitudes increased it. Additionally, perceived stress was found to mediate the relationship between parenting attitudes and ADHD. This study is significant in that it highlights stress as a factor influencing ADHD and suggests a direction for reevaluating the impact of parenting environments and stress on adolescents with ADHD.
