국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 시리아 알 홀 캠프와 요르단 알 자타리 캠프 취약 계층의 정신 건강 위기에 중점을 두고, 장기 갈등에 영향을 받은 난민 및 실향민(IDP) 캠프를 평가하기 위해 공간분포 모델을 적용하여 결과를 도출한다. 연구의 중요성: 본 연구는 대상 인구 및 기능에 따라 난민 캠프 시설을 분류하는 새로운 공간적 평가 모델을 제안하여, 앞으로의 난민캠프 개발에 참고할 수 있는 공간적 요인들을 제안한다. 연구방법론: 본 연구는 난민-IDP 캠프를 위한 공간 평가 모델의 효과를 입증하고, 기존 문제에 대한 이론적 및 실질적 해결책을 제공하는 것을 목표로 하는 구성적 접근 방식을 사용한다. 또한 이를 위해 다양한 시각적 분석방법을 활용한다. 연구결과: 연구 결과는 인프라의 전략적 배치가 기본 필요를 제공하는 시설의 효율성을 최적화할 수 있음을 시사하며, 커뮤니티 참여, 정신 건강관리 및 취약 계층에 중점을 둔 시설의 상당한 부족이 개선 영역임을 강조한다. 결론 및 시사점: 캠프 관리자와 조직원은 난민의 재정적 부담과 높은 의존성을 효과적으로 해결하기 위해 아동과 여성에게 의사 결정 과정 및 경제적 활동 참여자의 권한을 부여하는 전략을 개발해야 한다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study aims to apply urban planning strategies to evaluate refugee IDP camps affected by long-term conflicts, specifically focusing on mental health crises among vulnerable groups in Al Hol camp, Syria, and Al Za’atari camp, Jordan. Originality: The study proposes a new refugee-IDP camp evaluation model that categorizes facilities based on target populations and functions, uniquely integrating urban planning theories into refugee camp design. Methodology: The study employs a constructive approach to prove the effectiveness of a spatial evaluation model for refugee-IDP camps, intending to offer theoretical and practical solutions to existing issues. Result: The results suggest that the strategic distribution of infrastructure can optimize the efficiency of facilities providing basic needs. The significant shortage of facilities focusing on community involvement, mental health care, and vulnerable groups, highlights areas for improvement. Conclusions and Implication: Camp managers and organization staff should develop strategies to empower children and women as potential caregivers rather than merely recipients along with effectively addressing the financial burden and high dependency of refugees.
