국문 초록

본 연구는 여가만족과 행복의 관계를 확인하고, 해당 관계에서 인구사회학적 요인들의 조절효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 문화체육관광부에서 실시한 <2022 국민여가활동조사>에서 전국 20세 이상 성인 총 9,559명의 자료를 활용하였다. 여가만족을 독립변인, 행복을 종속변인, 인구사회학적 요인(연령, 성별, 교육수준, 가구소득)을 조절변인으로 설정하고 각각의 조절변인별로 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 성별을 제외하고 연령, 교육수준, 소득수준이 여가만족과 행복의 관계를유의하게 조절하였다. 구체적으로 연령은 높을수록, 교육수준과 소득수준은 낮을수록여가만족이 행복에 미치는 영향력이 높게 나타났다. 본 연구는 여가만족과 행복의 관계를 탐색한 기존 연구들에서 인구사회학적 요인들을 주로 통제변인으로 활용했던 것과 달리, 인구사회학적 변인의 영향력을 직접 확인했다는 차별점을 지니며, 생애주기별·계층별 맞춤형 여가정책을 수립해야 하는 필요성에 대한 과학적 근거를 제공한다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to examine the relationship between leisure satisfaction and happiness, and to investigate the moderating effects of demographic factors in this relationship. To achieve this, data from a total of 9,559 adults aged 20 and over, collected from the 2022 National Leisure Activity Survey, were utilized. Leisure satisfaction was set as the independent variable, happiness as the dependent variable, and demographic factors (age, gender, education level, household income) as moderating variables. Regression analysis was conducted for each moderating variable. The results showed that age, education level, and income level significantly moderated the relationship between leisure satisfaction and happiness. Specifically, as age increased, and as education and income levels decreased, the relationship between leisure satisfaction and happiness became stronger. Unlike previous studies that primarily treated demographic factors as control variables in examining the relationship between leisure satisfaction and happiness, this study directly examined the moderating roles of demographic factors, providing scientific evidence for the necessity of establishing tailored leisure policies based on life cycle and social class.
