The Relationships between Interactional Justice, Trust, and Logistics Performance in Supply Chain Management

국문 초록

본 연구는 윤리경영의 범주에 속하는 공정성과 신뢰가 공급망 내 기업 간 관계에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 또한, 이러한 요인들이 물류 운영의 정량적 성과에 어떤 영향을 미치는지도 조사하였다. 연구 모형 분석을 위해 상호작용 공정성을 대인관계 공정성과 정보 공정성으로 나누고 신뢰를 인지적 신뢰와 감정적 신뢰로 구분하였다. 이후, 정량적 성과로 이어지는 경로를 탐구하기 위해 대한민국의 공급망 관련 부서 직원들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그리고 가설 검증은 구조방정식 모형을 통해 이루어졌다. 실증 분석 결과, 대인관계 공정성과 정보 공정성 모두 두 가지 차원의 신뢰에 유의미한 긍정적 영향을 미치며 인지적 신뢰와 감정적 신뢰 모두 물류성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로, 상호작용 공정성과 신뢰가 공급망 내에서 정량적 물류성과에 영향을 미치는 핵심 무형 자산임을 확인하였다. 글로벌 공급망은 빠르게 변화하며 해체와 재구성을 반복하고 있다. 이러한 환경에서 기존 자산과 관행만으로 지속 가능성을 주장하기는 어렵고 새로운 성장 동력을 발견하는 것이 주목받고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 공정성과 신뢰를 무형 자산으로 정의하고 이를 정량화하는 방법을 도출함으로써 공급망의 새로운 성장 동력을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study empirically analyzes the impact of justice and trust, both of which fall under the umbrella of business ethics, on the inter-company relationships within the supply chain. The study further investigates how these factors affect the quantitative performance of logistics operations. For the analysis of the research model, interactional justice was divided into interpersonal and informational justice, and trust was divided into cognitive and emotional trust. Subsequently, surveys were conducted with employees in supply chain-related departments in South Korea to explore the pathway that leads to quantitative performance. Hypotheses were then tested through structural equation modeling. An empirical analysis revealed that both interpersonal and informational justice have a significant positive impact on both dimensions of trust and that both cognitive and emotional trust positively affect logistics performance. Based on this study's results, we concluded that interactional justice and trust are key intangible assets within the supply chain that influence quantitative logistics performance. Global supply chains are rapidly changing, undergoing repeated dismantling and reorganization. In such an environment, it is challenging to assert sustainability through existing assets and practices, and the discovery of new growth drivers is gaining attention. This study proposes a new driver for the supply chain by defining justice and trust as intangible assets and deriving a method to quantify them.
