성인발달장애 자녀를 돌보는 부모의 삶의 만족도에 관한 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 성인발달장애인을 돌보는 부모의 돌봄스트레스와 사회적 지지가 삶의 만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하여 성인발달장애인을 돌보는 부모의 삶의 만족도 향상을 위한 실천적정책적 대안을 제언하는 데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 충북지역 성인발달장애인을 돌보는 부모 300명을 구조화된 설문지로 조사하여 220부를 회수하였다. 이중 결측과 이상치를 제외한 200명의 응답을 SPSS 25.0 통계프로그램을 활용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과, 정서적 스트레스가 증가할수록 삶의 만족도가 감소하고, 가족의 지지와 전문가의 지지가 증가할수록 삶의 만족도가 증가함을발견하였다. 이를 바탕으로 성인발달장애인을 돌보는 부모의 삶의 만족도 향상을 위한 돌봄스트레스 감소 방안 및 사회적 지지 향상 방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the impact of caregiving stress and social support onthe life satisfaction of parents caring for adults with developmental disabilities, with the goalof suggesting practical policy alternatives to enhance their life satisfaction. A structuredquestionnaire was administered to 300 parents in Chungbuk region who care for adults withdevelopmental disabilities, with 220 responses collected. After excluding missing values andoutliers, 200 valid responses were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 statistical software. The results revealed that as emotional stress increased, life satisfaction decreased. Conversely, higherlevels of family and professional support were associated with increased life satisfaction. Based on these findings, the study proposes strategies to reduce caregiving stress and enhancesocial support to improve the life satisfaction of parents caring for adults with developmentaldisabilities.
