국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 대학생들의 전공만족도와 전공몰입도가 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이 과정에서 진로장벽이 매개 역할을 하는지 검증하는 데 있다. 방법 이를 위해 경기도 지역의 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 251명의 대학생을 대상으로 2023년 12월 10일부터 12월 31일까지 자기기입식 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 구조방정식모형(SEM)을 활용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 결과 연구 결과, 전공만족도와 전공몰입도는 모두 진로준비행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며, 특히 전공몰입은 진로장벽을 낮춤으로써 간접적으로도 진로준비행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 전공만족도는 진로장벽에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이러한 결과는 대학생들의 진로 준비를 효과적으로 지원하기 위해 전공만족도와 전공몰입을 높이고, 진로장벽을 극복할 수 있는 전략적 지원이 필요함을 시사한다. 본 연구는 대학과 정부가 대학생들의 성공적인 진로 개발을 위해 필요한 정책적 및 교육적 지원 방향을 제시하는 데 기여할 수 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The puppose of this study is to analyze the impact of major satisfaction and major involvement on career preparation behavior among university students, with a particular focus on the mediating role of career barriers. Methods A survey method was conducted with 251 students enrolled in four-year universities located in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, from December 10 to December 31, 2023. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) to examine the relationships among the variables. Results The results of this study are as follows. Both major satisfaction and major flow positively influence career preparation behavior. Notably, major flow also indirectly impacts career preparation behavior by reducing career barriers. However, major satisfaction does not significantly affect career barriers. Conclusions These results suggest that enhancing major satisfaction and flow, as well as providing strategic support to overcome career barriers, are crucial for effectively supporting students in their career preparation. This study offers valuable insights for universities and policymakers in developing educational and policy interventions aimed at fostering successful career development among university students.
