간호대학생의 장애인에 대한 인식, 접촉경험이 장애인에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 간호대학생의 장애인에 대한 인식과 장애인과의 접촉경험이 장애인에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 서술적연구이다. 연구대상은 Y시에 거주하는 간호대학생 137명이다. 자료분석은 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 이용하여 서술통계, t-검정, 일원 배치 분산분석, 피어슨 상관계수, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 간호 전공 선택 동기(t=7.063, p=.001)와 간호전공만족도(t=9.449, p<.001)에 따라 장애인에 대한 태도가 유의하게 변화하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 장애인 인식교육 이후에 태도가 향상되는 것으로 나타났다(t=2.649, p=.009). 장애인에 대한 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 장애인 인식교육 이수(t=-1.75, p=.042), 장애인에 대한 인식(t=-3.79, p<.001), 간호전공에 대한 만족도(t=-3.51, p=.001)가 있었으며, 이는 29%(F=10.64, p<.001)의 설명력을 보였다. 이를 바탕으로 간호대학생의 장애인에 대한 인식과 태도를 긍정적으로 개선하고 장애인에 대한 긍정적인 태도를 기르기 위해 다양한 방식으로 장애인과의 접촉경험과 자원봉사활동을 늘리는 프로그램을 개발할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study is a descriptive research study to understand the effects of nursing students' perception of the disabled and contact experience with the disabled on attitudes toward the disabled. The subjects of thie study were 137 nursing students from Y city. Data analysis was performed using the SPSS 25.0 program, utilizing descriptive statistics, t-tests, One-way ANOVA, and Pearson’s correlation coefficients, Multiple Regression Analysis. The results showed that attitude toward the disabled was significantly changed according to the motivation for choosing a nursing major (t=7.063, p=.001) and satisfaction with the nursing major (t=9.449, p<.001). It was also found that the attitudes was found to improve after education on disability awareness (t=2.649, p=.009). Factors influencing attitudes toward the disabled included completion of disability awareness education (t=-1.75, p=.042), perception of the disabled (t=-3.79, p<.001) and satisfaction with nursing major (t=-3.51, p=.001). This showed an explanatory power of 29% (F=10.64, p<.001). Based on this, it is necessary to develop a program to increase contact experience with the disabled and volunteer activities in various ways to positively improve nursing students' awareness and attitude toward the disabled, and foster positive attitudes toward the disabled.
