국문 초록

본 연구는 학교 밖 청소년지원센터를 이용하는 청소년들의 사회적 낙인감이 회복탄력성에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 자아존중감, 가족 지지, 또래집단의 친사회적 특성이 조절효과를 가지는지 검증하였다. 이를 위해 경상북도, 대구광역시, 강원도, 전라남도, 서울지역의 센터 이용 청소년 320명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 불성실 응답을 제외한 300부의 데이터를 SPSS 25.0 및 SPSS Process Macro를 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 사회적 낙인감이 높을수록 회복탄력성이 낮아지는 부정적 관계가 확인되었고, 자아존중감, 가족 지지, 또래집단의 친사회적 특성은 이를 완화하는 조절효과를 보였다. 반면, 친구 지지와 성인 지지는 유의미한 조절효과를 나타내지 않았다. 이를 바탕으로 청소년의 자아존중감, 가족 및 또래 지지 강화를 통한 개입과 사회적 낙인 감소를 위한 정책적 지원의 필요성이 강조되었다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the impact of social stigma on the resilience of out-of-school youth and examined whether self-esteem, family support, and prosocial characteristics of peer groups have moderating effects. A survey was conducted with 320 out-of-school youth from youth support centers in Gyeongsangbuk-do, Daegu, Gangwon-do, Jeollanam-do, and Seoul, targeting those aged 9 to 24. After excluding invalid responses, data from 300 participants were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and SPSS Process Macro. The results revealed a negative relationship between social stigma and resilience, indicating that higher levels of social stigma correlate with lower resilience. Self-esteem, family support, and prosocial peer group characteristics showed significant moderating effects in mitigating the negative impact of social stigma, while friend support and adult support did not exhibit meaningful moderating effects. Based on these findings, the study highlights the need for interventions that strengthen self-esteem, family support, and peer group connections among out-of-school youth, along with policies to reduce social stigma.
