국문 초록

디자인-씽킹은 단일 개념으로 고정될 수 없으며, 다양한 상황과 환경에 맞춰 유연하게 적용되어야 하는 사고 과정이라는 관점에서, 범주론적 논리 체계를 통해 디자인-씽킹의 개념을 재정립하고자 하였다. 연구에서는 디자인-씽킹의 '차이성(종차:種差)'인 디자인을 중심으로 디자인-씽킹의 범주를 설정하고, 다양한 디자인 정의를 시각화하여 어피니티 다이어그램을 통해 디자인 개념을 분류하였다. 이를 통해 디자인-씽킹이 특정 모형으로 대변되는 확정적 도구가 아닌, 디자인의 특징을 반영한 사고방식임을 강조하였다. 연구에서는 디자인적 사고의 특징을 유연한 시야, 세상과 공명, 적극적 실체화로 규정하고 이를 토대로 디자인-씽킹을 개념화할 것을 제안한다. 실험을 통해 디자인-씽킹의 범주론적 개념화가 실제 효능감에 미치는 영향을 분석하였으며, 디자인 이해도가 높을수록 디자인-씽킹의 효능감이 증가한다는 결과를 도출하였다. 본 연구는 디자인-씽킹을 고유 명사화하는 관행을 지양하고, 디자인의 특성과 연계된 유기적인 사고방식으로서의 디자인-씽킹의 개념 인식에서 디자인의 특성이 중요함을 강조하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

Design thinking should be viewed not as a fixed concept but as a flexible thought process that adapts to various situations and environments. This study aims to redefine the concept of design thinking using a categorical logic framework. Focusing on design as the 'Specific Difference' of design thinking, the research categorizes design concepts through affinity diagrams by visualizing various definitions. This highlights that design thinking is not a definitive tool tied to a specific model but a thought process that reflects design’s characteristics. The study proposes conceptualizing design thinking through key traits such as a ‘Flexible perspective’, ‘Resonance with the world’, and ‘Active actualization’. Through experiments, it was found that greater understanding of design leads to increased efficacy in design thinking. The research avoids treating design thinking as a fixed term and emphasizes its role as an organic process linked to design's unique characteristics.
