국문 초록

최근 주의력결핍 과잉행동장애(ADHD) 아동의 증가로 인해 보호자들이 겪는 우울감, 죄책감 등이 심각한 사회적 문제로 대두되고 있다. 그러나 많은 보호자들이 ADHD에 대한 충분한 지식과 효과적인 양육 방법을 알지 못해 어려움을 겪고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 ADHD 아동 보호자를 대상으로 자기모니터링 행위를 지원하는 모바일 앱 서비스를 기획하고 이를 구현하였다. 개발된 서비스는 전문가 자문과 사용자 테스트를 통해 실효성을 검증받았으며, 이를 통해 ADHD 아동 보호자가 디지털 기술을 활용하여 자녀의 증상 관리를 효과적으로 도울 수 있는 가능성을 제시하였다. 특히, 본 연구는 자기모니터링 기반 접근법이 보호자의 양육 역량 강화와 아동의 증상 개선에 미치는 긍정적 영향을 확인함으로써 학문적, 실무적 의의를 지닌다.

영문 초록

The recent increase in children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) has brought significant social challenges, including heightened levels of depression, and guilt among their caregivers. However, many caregivers lack adequate knowledge about ADHD and effective parenting strategies, exacerbating their difficulties. This study aims to design and implement a mobile application service that supports self-monitoring behaviors for caregivers of children with ADHD. The effectiveness of the service was validated through expert consultations and user testing. By leveraging digital technology, the study highlights the potential for caregivers to improve symptom management in their children through self-monitoring practices. Notably, the research underscores the academic and practical significance of self-monitoring-based approaches in enhancing parenting competencies and improving ADHD symptoms in children.
