국문 초록
This study aimed to investigate the impact of economic activities on beauty and healthcare behaviors, as well as life satisfaction among active seniors (ages 50 to 69) in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, and Gangwon-do. Additionally, it seeks to emphasize the importance of economic engagement among active seniors and provide information and marketing data designed to enhance life satisfaction in later years. To achieve this, a questionnaire survey was conducted from April 15 to 25, lasting 15 days. A total of 301 responses were collected and used for final analysis. To ensure the validity of the questionnaire, frequency analysis, factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed.
The analysis revealed that the most common reason for engaging in economic activities was ‘for financial reasons,’ while the highest impact of economic activity on life satisfaction was found to be ‘to maintain health.’ Furthermore, the influence of beauty and healthcare behaviors on life satisfaction was found to be significant, particularly through health supplements and healthcare practices. Therefore, there is a need for policies that support active seniors in their economic engagement. In the future, the silver industry should be further segmented to create differentiated marketing strategies and high-quality services that enhance overall satisfaction.
