국문 초록

최근에 발생하고 있는 재난은 규모가 대형화되고 광역적인 피해를 발생시키는 특징을 보이며, 여러 재난이 복합적으로 연계된 복합재난 발생이 증가하는 양상을 보이고 있다. 복합재난에 대한 위험을 관리함에 있어서 복합재난 유형별 발생 및 피해특성 등을 파악하여 사전에 대비하는 것이 중요하다. 이러한 배경에서 본 연구는 복합재난 관련 논문의 서지정보를 활용한 토픽모델링 및 네트워크 분석을 통해 복합재난 유형을 도출하고, 각 유형별 복합재난의 전개방식, 복합재난을 구성하는 재난요소, 복합재난으로 인한 피해대상, 복합재난 위험관리 방안에 관한 상이한 특성을 비교분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 556개의 해외 학술지에 등재된 복합재난 관련 1,837편의 논문의 서지정보를 대상으로 한 토픽모델링 및 네트워크 분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과, 복합재난을 구성하는 하위 재난들의 조합을 기준으로 복합재난을 7개의 유형으로 분류할 수 있었고, 각 유형별로 앞서 정의한 하위 요소에 대한 차이가 존재함을 발견하였다.

영문 초록

Disasters have been increasing in scale and causing widespread damage, with a rising trend of multiple hazards occurring together and interacting. To manage multi-hazard risks effectively and enable proactive preparedness, it is essential to understand how such hazards occur and how much damage they cause. This study identifies the types of multi-hazards through topic modeling and network analysis, based on bibliographic information from international articles related to such hazards. We also compared the characteristics of each type of multi-hazard, focusing on their progression, subcomponents, entities affected by them, and strategies for managing them. This study utilized the bibliographic information of 1,837 articles, published in 556 international academic journals, and employed topic modeling and network analysis. The analysis results revealed that multi-hazards could be classified into seven types, based on the combination of their sub-components. Additionally, we identified differences between the types of multi-hazards.
