과학교육전공생들의 사범대학 적응과정에서 나타나는 ((예비교사))*의 수용과 저항: Lacan 정신분석학의 상징계 이론을 토대로

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 과학교육전공 재학생들의 사범대학 정착과정에서 나타나는 진로 갈등 양상을, 학생 주체를 ‘예비교사’로 규정하는 과정에서 출발할 수 있음을 가정하고 이를 Lacan 정신분석학의 시니피앙 이론으로 재해석하였다. 방법 전국 세 개 국립대학의 과학교육전공 3-4학년 재학생 60명이 참여하였으며 설문지를 통해 질적 자료가 수집되었다. 수집된 질적자료는 단어구름 및 언어네트워크 분석방법을 통해 분석되었으며 그 결과 도출된 범주를 활용하여 단순기술통계 및 교차분석을 실시하였다. 결과 과학교육전공 재학생들은 ((예비교사))의 정의 및 성품 측면에서 주체를 규정받고 있었으며 특히 성품 측면에서 이를 내면화하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 ((예비교사))의 의미작용에는 교수가 주요한 역할을 하고 있으며 사범대학의 전반적인 교육과정에서 의미작용이 이루어지고 있었다. 마지막으로 ((예비교사))에 대한 감정의 형태, ((예비교사))의 자기 정체성 반영여부에 대한 인식, 그리고 ((예비교사))에 대한 수용 태도 등이 서로 밀접하게 연관되어있었다. 결론 이에 본 연구는 ((예비교사))가 교직으로의 진로안착 또는 갈등을 유발할 수 있는 요인 중 하나가 될 수 있음을 제시하였으며 사범대학의 진로갈등 문제에 대하여 정신분석학적이라는 새로운 접근을 시도할 것을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study assumed that the career conflict that appears during the settlement process of students majoring in science education at a teacher's college can start with the process of defining the student subject as a “pre-service teacher” and reinterpreted this with the signifier theory of Lacanian psychoanalysis. Methods For the study, 60 third- and fourth-year science education students from three national universities across the country participated, and the data were analyzed through word cloud and language network analysis and qualitative analysis. Results As a result of the study, it was found that current students define themselves as ((pre-service teachers)) in terms of their definition and personality and internalize this, especially in terms of personality. In addition, professors played a major role in the signification of ((pre-service teacher)), and signification was taking place in the overall curriculum of the College of Education. Lastly, the type of emotion toward ((pre-service teacher)), the perception of whether ((pre-service teacher)) reflects one's own identity, and the accepting attitude toward ((pre-service teacher)) were closely related to each other. Conclusions Accordingly, this study suggested that ((prospective teachers)) can be one of the factors that can cause conflict or career settlement in the teaching profession and suggested attempting a new psychoanalytical approach to the problem of career conflict in teachers' colleges.
