상담자 발달수준과 동성애 혐오 간의 관계: 자기성찰의 조절효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 상담자 발달수준과 동성애 혐오 태도 간의 관계에서 자기성찰의 조절효과가 있는지를 확인하는데 있다. 방법 학회 홈페이지 및 상담자 온라인 커뮤니티 등을 통해 현재 상담관련 자격증을 소지하고 현장에서 활동하는 상담자들을 대상으로 상담자 발달수준 척도, 자기성찰 척도, 동성애 공포 척도를 온라인 설문으로 실시하여 자료를 수집하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0을 활용하여 기술통계, 상관분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과 분석결과, 상담자 발달수준은 자기성찰과 정적 상관, 동성애 혐오와는 부적 상관을 나타냈으며, 자기성찰과 동성애 혐오 간에는 통계적으로 유의미한 부적 상관을 나타냈다. 또한 상담자 발달수준과 동성애 혐오 간의 관계에서 자기성찰이 조절효과를 가지는 것으로 확인되었다. 결론 상담자 발달수준, 자기성찰, 동성애 혐오 간의 관계 확인을 통해 동성애 상담을 진행하기 위해서 상담자들에게 필요한 교육 및 훈련에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine the moderating effect of self-reflection on the relationship between counselor developmental level and homophobia. Methods Through the association's website and online community of counselors, data were collected by conducting an online survey on the level of counseling development, self-reflection, and homosexuality fear for counselors who currently hold counseling-related certificates and work in the field. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 for descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. Results The analysis revealed that the counselor developmental level had a positive correlation with self-reflection and a negative correlation with homophobia. There was also a statistically significant negative correlation between self-reflection and homophobia. Additionally, it was confirmed that self-reflection has a moderating effect on the relationship between counselor developmental level and homophobia. Conclusions Based on the confirmed relationships among counselor developmental level, self-reflection, and homophobia, the study discusses the necessary education and training for counselors to effectively conduct counseling on issues related to homosexuality.
